  • The music is not mine, but was part of the feature on the DVD. You'll have to ask Warner Home Video about the source of the music.

  • Did Penelope ever figure out the true identity of "The Hooded Claw"?

  • Only if you count Sylvester Sneekly as quick change artist at the end of "Big Top Trap".

  • Wasn't the VA of The Hooded Claw the late Paul Lynde?

  • Yes, he was. I understand that Mr. Lynde declined screen credit in H-B cartoons to avoid teasing from his fellow panelists on _The_Hollywood_Squares_.

  • All master villains who want to be taken seriously by their henchmen need an alter ego. Sylvester Sneakly chose "The Hooded Claw" perfectly, the former being an upright southern gentleman, the latter being an evil, twisted, scheming villain, whose sole ambition is to bag poor Penelope's estate and fortune. Booo, Hooded Claw, booo Bully brothers.

Any aspiring villain of today needs to seriously study The Hooded Claw, his mannerisms, his precision planning, and his use of "hired muscle". LMAO

Nobody before or since had a laugh like that!

  • @ilikethecoke I made a mistake its 8 i believe

  • @ilikethecoke I think its 7 episodes that Sylvester Sneekly appeared.

  • What's the tune?

  • R-A-P-I-S-T

seriously someone should make a bed intruder amv with this guy lol.

  • R.I.P. Paul Lynde.

  • @MrDenizen WHERE WAS THERE SEXUAL ASSAULT?!!?

  • So.... a cartoon was made.. glamourising abduction and sexual assault? Those were theys I suppose ;)

  • How many times was The Hooded Claw on screen as Sylvester Sneakly?

    I can't recall that many.

  • @A1l2l2e2n4 No, Penelope never found out Claw's true identity. She did notice the resemblance between Claw and Sneekly, but wouldn't believe her nice guardian could be Claw - not even when he changed into Claw right in front of her in "Big Top Trap". She put it down to another of Claw's tricks.
