Like I Do At 48 Years Old

  • Nice image, thanks. My pup (see other videos) watches everything I do and wonders... when will he put that noisy thing down and play fetch? I'm glad you like the music.

  • Perfect instrument for Ragtime, Just right! Great playing Frosty.

  • You don't know how much have I searched to find a video with fingerstyle picking on a resonator guitar! And the only thing I can say my friend is that both your tone and picking are mighty fine! Do you have any other videos with fingerpicking resonator? It would be interesting to hear it different styles without a slide (not saying that slide is bad; it's awesome).

  • I'm generally not a fan of resonator guitars as they sound so harsh, but this sounds wonderfully like a blend between guitar and banjo! His playing (on this and other videos) is light and easy; nothing forced. Natural talent, easy going, not in your face, kinda humble....persona comes through. Gifted player and performer!

  • @browniemcgheeggallin

the guitar is super easy to play... the only hard thing about these artists is signing well while you play!

  • nice tune, thanks!

PS love the way the room darkens when you hold that bent 'd' note (as is) on the F chord - (0:42) it's as if you're draining the power supply with it lol. If you held it too long you'd be responsible for a statewide blackout ;-)

  • My whippet used to sit on the couch with me and was never bothered by my banjo picking. Recently his hearing must have improved, because now when I play he jumps off the couch and goes into the other room. :o)

  • @FrostyMorn pets like music too

  • from 00:35 - 00:40 is the toughest part!

  • Golden. Love it.
