Joe Louis single handedly dismantled the Nazi image of invincibility and was the youngest heavyweight champ ever. So there is not a big surprise that a green fighter like louis would have flaws in his techinque ...to bad he didnt have the luxury of picking easier fights til he was ready for world class competition.

@djk28161 I am assuming your not a racist piece of crap, but from your tone you most likely are one, yet here are more points as to why max is no where near in joe's league. Max was world HW champ for 2 years during a time (1930) when the greatest fighters could not compete and never was able to obtain the belt during integration, on the otherhand Joe lewis taking all comers literally (bum of the week club) held on to the world HW belt for 12years.
