  • @l317537w awesome i just started showing in training level and have gotten good scores and im moving up so thank you :)

  • ...with less pressure, more fun and lower costs, and I get an idea of what we need to improve upon (my horse acts differently at shows vs. at home.) This year, we decided to give First Level a try. We had a long way to go, so I stuck with schooling shows this summer. I plan to do some recognized shows in the spring (after training our buns off this winter) and will be curious to see how we do.

  • @girandpiggy52 I've found, in my experience, that judging/scoring at a recognized show generally tends to be a more competitive, and yes I'd say more precise, than that of a schooling show. My test scores from one schooling show judge to the next were not always consistent. I keep in mind that some schooling show judges may be new and/or gaining experience, so they may not score as acurately as other judges. I like to go to schooling shows for the experience...

  • is the scoring at recognized shows more specific, or should i say more precise or exact than small organization schooling shows?

  • @baytb1996 Thank you! Brevard is a Dutch Warmblood / Clydesdale cross.

  • Nicely accurate ride. What breed of horse is he?
