Lyrics:
Jack of Diamonds is a gambling man
He played the tables whenever he can
Take some advice boy stay clean stay out of his way
Little Jeannie is a dancing queen
She's been shaking it since she was sixteen
Skips across the tables acting out her passion play

(1) It wasn't for money, it's only a chance
You take a gamble, got shot for romance
Chains, chains pulling you down
Chain of life that turns the world around
Chains chains pulling you down
Chain of life that turns the world around

Without a warning Jeannie took off one night
Jack got so mean boy, he just had to fight
He died on the floor someone else evens the score
Back on the tables Jeannie's romance had died
That one look of love had told her a lie
And for her there's no waves crashing on seashores

(1) Repeat

[Instrumental]

  • chapman was a great addition to a top line up..They created 4great studio records followed by great live stuff.Best band of all time and future...just listen...

  • @MetallicBill

Saw sheehan many times here in Buffalo. Was the bass player for Talas, a Buffalo band.

  • well he always forgot words

  • I have this CD but was there ever a video release of this concert? They were never recorded better than that night. Also the Chapman era had some great songs.

  • Phil apparently had a huge alcohol problem at this time yet it is never evident in the recordings.

  • @MetallicBill Last B and W shot is one that made it to Circus magazine when they wrote that UFO was disbanding and no more. Damn, that was sad and shocking news. Phil Mogg was on again off again, both band and bottle it seemed! Until the late 1980s

  • Chapman era, Top of the Pops promo, and Billy Sheehan live concert shot, cool!
