This game is worse than dragon rising.

It doesn't even have map editor, sdk, helicopter piloting, tank and apc commanding, multiplayer etc.

And it lacks in realism. It lacks in being OFP.

''Big improvement''`?

Map editor is removed, SDK is removed, multiplayer is removed , drivable tanks, APC, aircraft - is removed. The AI is even more dumbed down, the missions are more scripted, the level design more restricted.. they've added perks, sticky aim, unlimited magic health packs, and the graphics and overused bloom is still there aswella s bugs and glitches.

How the fuck can that be 'a big improvement'' since the last game?

i don't know what you're all complaining about, I love Dragon Rising, and no game can beat it in realism, but red river is also awesome, because i bought it for about 30€ and its totally worth that money....

i like the campaign, its not that realistic anymore, but the story and the gameplay are still good....

@RedRiverChannel And really, if you play these sort of games with the AI you are completly missing the point. This game is all about team work, you grab a few friends and have fun, the AI does not have to be used at all.

@RedRiverChannel Instead of moaning on every and i mean EVERY red river video why dont you go out and buy Arma 2, or even better Arma 3 when it is released, that game will other more then this could ever imagine.. And the way you say it lacks replayability.... It has a load of extra side missions which can be great fun when playing with your mates... And you say the AI sucks, but really this is one of the first games on Console that has AI that you can control, and that react when taking fire.

If you want a fairly fast paced and not ultra realistic shooter, that gives the player a lot of freedom and choice, buy I'd recomand Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad. It doesn't require a supercomputer to play either.

If you're looking for a extremely realistic more slow-paced shooter, I'd recomand arma 2, but it requires a great computer aswell.
