When I was a teen I loved Wilco so much. Their "new"(anything after 2000) music is garbage. I wish they would've changed their name with their sound so I never had to have heard this song.

I have to agree on their evolution not being for the better. It seems like they turned into a jam band in their later albums, which are full of songs with 4 lines of lyrics and 4+ minutes of rambling instrumentals.

@xaznacex I'm not someone who cares about perceived genres. All that matters is the music, not the attempt to pigeonhole, and Wilco's evolution hasn't been for the better to me. My Morning Jacket are similar in that their evolution just ended up producing rubbish albums. The Whole Love isn't bad, a bit pedestrian in parts, but comes nowhere close to beating Summerteeth or Being There.

@HeartfeltDawn Well IMO, I love Wilco, Whole Love and Sky Blue Sky. Wilco is definately one of those bands that have evolved over the years. So it's hard to say one is better than the other when most of them aren't the same genre.
