Failed Homemade Cannon/Successful Homemade Bomb

I built this cannon out of a large roll of paper. It is wrapped with duct tape and one end is plugged with paper and glue. I cut the heads off of 8 boxes of matches, and rammed a ball of tin foil down with a broom. I made a small base out of spare wood and painted it....yes I do have too much time on my hands, no need to mention that. The cannon just exploded and littered the ground with shreds of paper. I'm still amazed by the power of the match heads I used.
