Grilled Salmon is one of our favorite meals, especially when it is cooked on our Cedar Plank. I decided to fire up the Big Green Egg and grill some Salmon and corn for a healthy dinner. I paired it with the Russian River Damnation, which is a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. Check out the blog post for the "recipe" that I used for the spice rub on the Salmon: http://www.bikebeerbbq.com/russian-river-damnation-and-cedar-plank-grilled-sa...

  • I think the Russian River Brewing bottles say to leave the yeast in the bottles because they use wild yeast. I have had the Redemption Ale I haven't had the Damnation Ale.

  • @sector69102 Most people leave the yeast in the bottle but I like to try it with the beer. Sometimes it helps and sometimes not so much. That's the fun of beer though. Cheers!

  • like it

  • @EasyRecipesHQ It's a good beer. Thanks for watching!

  • I love watching your reviews while drinking the beer that you are reviewing, sinse im a

  • @retrohippie Fish, and a lot of other things, are great on planks! The flavor that the wood imparts to the food is fantastic.

  • I know this video is about the beer, but I gotta tell you how much I love cedar plank grilled fish, hahah.

After you use them the first time, you never go back to just grilling them.

  • @60timus1 Yeah, more and more brewers are trying their hand at the style. Many of them are pretty darn good.

Big green eggs are sold mostly through local dealers. So check in your area to see who sells them. If you're going to buy one, I'd suggest getting a large as it's big enough to cook just about anything you'd need to. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll try to answer them for you.
