i like this cover but at the same time i don't. it sounds great but it always feels like he is holding back something

@ronniepage To each his own. IMO, it's perfect. He clearly respects the original while he makes it own. I've seen Mehldau six times in the Boston area and, wow, "holding back" is so opposite what I've witnessed. The man is a great artist and monumental pianist.
