Here is shakey movie of my new Predator 13hp engine installed in my Yamaha G9 golf cart.Runs nice and smooth and fairly quiet with the stock muffler.(even quiter after installin the rear cowling)I did make a header to move the muffler out away from the engine and back so The tail pipe would clear the driven sheave.
Cart has alot of torque and moves out real well.I have also removed the govenor .Starts and stops like a normal golf cart.So far there has been no need to use the choke.

  • Was it a pain getting the engine mounted to the golf cart? What kind of clutch did you end up using? Thanks

  • @williswatts32 I had to make a new engine cradle.I used part of the original cradle so I could keep the rubber motor mounts.

I reused the stock clutch with and adapter from Carts Parts Plus.It required cutting the crank and retapping it.
