Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Boston Bruins 4 games to 2, winning the cup with a Game 6 10 victory. In doing so, the Flyers became the first expansion team to win the Cup in the post-Original Six era.
@andrelebaron - We like to say in Philly that "it ain't BEGUN 'til the fat lady sings!" With Kate's record of 89-25-4 as of the end of the 2010-2011 season, it usually was OVER for the opponent.
Rick "The Quick" MacLeish remains my all-time favorite Flyer. The long flowing hair, the ease of skating where a couple strides and he was doing 25 mph down the ice, that blistering wrist shot. I wanted to see him play in the Winter Classic at the Bank, but alas it is not to be. Hope all is well, Rick!

Who kept the puck of the last play? Flyers #15 was after the referee after he picked it up.
