I came to my very own and found there wasn't enough room in town
I was turn away by the people of my name.
I was a stranger to my friends; no one to really comprehend
Just who I was or the reason I came
And I was beaten and abused; even peter would refuse
Just to claim me as his own friend
They nailed the hands that gave them light
They chose darkness for the light; they were blinded by their own sins.

Reff;
Where were my people that day, called by my own name
Thousands of years I have spoken to them was it all in vain?
Where were my people that day, they did not understand
The words I have said and how I had plead
And all the tears I've shed.

Two thousands years have come and gone, but still the pain is going on
My people are still breaking my heart
They act like I never came and die; they don't want me in their lives
And its tearing me completely apart.

Where are my people today, called by my own names
Are they content with the world, of sorrow and pain
Where are my people today, heaven is prepared
They don't act like they even care, how long I've been waiting there....

  • Oh nice. Did we meet? What is your name? Where do you go to church?

  • oh Brother Juan.... We met.. actually i don't remember where we met, but you made a great impression with your guitar skills. One playing on this video is Andre, but this is my page. The name is Bles and i go to Highland indonesian Church.

  • Hello this is Juan Arias (seriously). Great recording! Praise the Lord. Where did you hear this song?

  • My brother, Juan. From a distant i learned this song from only one source... You. Of course, compared to how you play, this is a mere bootleg version.
