I did this project for a class. It covers the start of a mission to Mars in an attempt to terraform the planet.

if we did terraform mars, then our population can expand, we would need to store examples of our own vegetation aboard the colony ships so we can grow them on mars.

Very nice animation (descent and reentry reminds me of the animation done by JPL for the MERs descent and entry phase.
Nevertheless everything would be more realistic if you'd taken into account several "technicalities":
counter-rotation reaction wheels: good; but they have to be coaxial to work properly;
descent vehicle control surfaces: good; nevertheless landing is done with retrorockets
