Emmy 2009 Winner Reactions: Brendan Gleeson

We're in the press room with Brendan Gleeson at the 2009 Emmy Awards to get his reaction to the win for Outstanding Actor in a Mini-Series for INTO THE STORM. Gleeson discusses his accent while playing Winston Churchill, and his reverence for the former Prime Minister. Plus, he opens up about his upcoming project on a Paul Greengrass film, and on his role as 'Mad-Eye Moody' in the HARRY POTTER films.

Appalling casting, wooden performances and pisspoor directing. A shocking letdown after the brilliant Finney-Redgrave accomplishment. Gleeson plays Churchill as witless, charmless, dispeptic, grouchy -- and DULL! Ugh!!

He's 6'2 in height, damn I wish I was about the same height.. I'm only a5'10,5 guy.. I don't know why, but 6'2 seems like it's the ideal height. You're tall enough, but not so tall that you look weird. And 6'2 guys DOES make a good impression. Much is psychological ofc. And 6'2 guys looks great in tuxedo. Well that felt very offtopic, anyway Brendan Gleeson is just a wonderful actor, I really liked him as Hamish in Braveheart :)
