Nature Spirit 'Speed Painting' by Dave Larks, I really felt a lot of joy when I was creating this.. I love the earth, life is amazing. Nature Spirit was created in Adobe Photoshop on a Wacom Cintiq tablet. it took approx 4 hours to create. It was then time stretched in Adobe after Effects and sound was added in garageband.

what your seeing underneath is a rough mockup composed from various photo ref that's been manipulated into a rough approximation of the final design, which you see from the beginning of this vid. on most of my work I create roughs before going to final. thanks for being so observant

When I first saw this, I didn't have my specs on, and I thought she looked a heeluva lot like Taylor swift! (apart from the slant of the eyes; much more oriental)
