-
awesome ...and the end i understand

I would love it show a slower...closeup...version of the introduction. You seem to move your fingers a LOT less than most other people I've seen play that lead !!!!!
GREAT JOB !!!

Thanks a lot-- yes, there's definitely a G that he hits in that chord. I've heard that same chord in an early Beatles song. Thanks also for the hammer on tip. I will give it a try.
It's hard to find people who actually know the intricacies of the songs they perform on youtube, You are an awesome exception-- you nailed this song are are one heck of a player! Happy Holidays!!!
What is that chord that is arpeggiated over the words "Named him after a man of the cloth... Called him Amos..." which is at the end of the choruses? Is it a D7 with a 9? I have the other chords down-- but not sure what that one is. You guys have nailed this song! Great job! Jerry Reed was one of a kind-- missed...

@iritethesongs It's a D7sus4, but I had to look it up ;). It's basically a D7 with a G (3rd fret) on the 1st e string. He also does a little hammer-on on the 3rd string (from G to A) to kick it off, and then a bounce with his thumb from the open 5th and 4th strings (A to D). Have fun!

Great job guys - what chords are you playing?

@BVB09Fanatic The song is in A7. Verses include B7 and D7. Chorus has E7, D7, and A7, transitioning through C to D7 at the end. A lot of 7ths. :)
