Truck campers have been around for a long time and according to Norm Jacobson, Director of Sales and Marketing for Lance Camper, truck campers were probably the first commercially produced form of RV in the country. Commercially produced truck campers may have been around
since the early fifties but one company that began shortly there after is Lance Campers and almost from the start was setting the standard by which other campers were measured.

Jeff Johnston visited Lance Camper in Lancaster, Calif. a few weeks ago and spent time with Norm Jacobson to learn more about the
company, its history and growth over the years.

Today as in the beginning Lance has always had its eye on quality and as Norm explains in the show, how in 2008 the company made a major change in how it designs and builds its truck campers and new line of trailers.
