@2007realitycheck Hello, RealityCheck!! ---> Tsunamis would never reach Seattle, duh. We are in the Sound. There are islands and a lot of waterways that would absorb one before ever reaching the ferry dock or any other pier on the downtown Seattle waterfront. Back to reality, what are your ideas and feelings 3 yrs later, and a deep bore tunnel in process? Do you even live in Seattle?

In a word >> Proposterous ! ! !

Why not just stop construction and go into a bare bones operation program until the economy comes back ... I am tired of the Govt employee welfare programs and mentalities.
F&^K Seattle ... do you get that?

Guys, get some new hats. You look like 1895.

It's also safer since it would route hazardous material around the city and not through it. It's earthquake proof and tsunami resistant.

this project is more cost effective and has a higher throughput than most others. Plus it could include a promenade that would provide a great view of Seattle from about a mile out.

I was just kidding. I'm from Pierce County. I like the idea of a Elliott Bay Bridge (not floating). Why is a bridge not bing considered? Any Idea? Is Elliot Bay too deep? Thanks
Suspension bridge West Seattle to Magnolia built new freeways must be built as approaches and structure wouldn't allow access to Beacon Hill, Royal B. Way for sports, Madison/Marion for dwntn & Hospitals, Aurora Ave, and Western Ave. Whatever is built should. Such future bridge not act as a AWV replacement and improve the waterfront.

Does everyone in Seattle wear funny hats?

The guy wearing a hat is the producer of the television show that interviewed Mr. Hall. He lives in Olympia, WA (the state capitl of WA which is in Thurston County) His very popular show is a regular feature on TCTV (Thurston County Television) It may have been broadcast on SCAN-TV in Seattle several times but they did not produce it.
