@comrad i grow up with soca from the 80s and 90s and while i like todays music....music back then was versitile with riddim and lyrics...today is the same riddim and lyric....mostly talk bout RUM....its fun for one song but everything is about rum...

@pokankant Very good observation !! although i am a member of this generation and i can sympathise (i cyah help it..it written in our DNA) with todays "soca" music..i have to call a spade a spade and say that compared to soca music of years gone by...today's soca is utter shit !!
