nice tone... well played...
I turned this on to get a feel for the pickups... and then started doing something else... when it stopped playing I was like wait what?
I had to play the vid again, I'd stop listening to the pickups and just started enjoying the playing...
well done sir... well done.

Very Nice playing!
Is that MIM strat? Very cool color - You're the first I've seen put the GFS pickups in a Fender. I think the stock MIM pickups have a more modern quality and the GFS more vintage, but GFS quality is on par or better. Bottom line, can't argue with that tone!

Which GFS Alnico II pickups were they? Do you remember? I liked the tone of yours and went to the GFS site to order one up for my Traveler Speedster (bridge) but then I saw they make a number of Alnico II pickups. I suspect they weren't the vintage models, but didn't want to order the wrong one...

@GlennMarshallRocks: They are the GFS Premium II Alnico II Hand Bevelled Strat Set - go to the "Strat and Tele" pickups page and they are at the very bottom...

It's actually a MIA '93 Plus Deluxe - about the only thing original is the body though, so I guess it's more of a "partscaster" - It's got a '62 RI neck and Callaham saddles and block - it used to be 3 tone SBurst but the paint was chipping really bad so I had it repainted in "Mariner Turquoise," which is a mid 60's Pontiac GTO color. The GFS are no longer in it - it has Klein S-7 "EJ Specials" in it now...
