These decisions as being a conscientious objector, religion, and social values should be made before joining the military, not after. I don't know how long you were in or where you were at but there always comes reenlistment and the choice not to reenlist. There is no dishonor in being a CO, in fact I respect those who are truely COs. As for my Jerry Falwell comment, I'm not really a fan of Jerry Falwell.
