Absolutely marvelous. I am not Mormon, but what a wonderful legacy has been left by the Mormon pioneers - - I must say left to us all. We should all be as caring, resolute, and brave. Bless your church.

Don't be sad.. be happy that we dont have to do that, and why? Because we have cars now.. We have evolved, be happy for that.

Thank you for doing this! It brought tears to my eyes. I had ancestors who crossed the plains. I also went on the Trek and it made me love my ancestors and also the rest of the Pioneers even more then I already have. They are my heroes!

@andywatson55 actually when you compare these parties that had trouble, statistically, they fared much better than the parties similar to the Donner party. these people were blessed because of their faith.
