It's too bad that there was not a trial for either defendants. This crime does not appear to be random as the media and police would portray it to be. With a plea bargain in both cases, there is evidence that will not be presented to the public. Most unusual is that the police never released the complete details of the autopsy report. Only a partial report was given to media outlets. The defendants were not granted a change of venue which may be the reason for their "confessions."
