Jeff's chums rip through Jimmy Page's Ravel-inspired composition - recorded a year earlier on the 17th of May '66. With Jeff and Jimmy on guitars, John Paul Jones on bass, keyboards Nicky Hopkins and Keith Moon drums.
(A scratchy worn copy, but worth a spin)

  • @groundhog713 yea, they run the tape backwards like tomorrow never knows

  • One of my favorite instrumentals...it sounds so doomy! I like how this single has backwards guitar playing at the end. The US release doesn't have it.

  • One of my favorite instrumentals...it sounds so doomy!

  • Sundazed just put out a 180 gram vinyl re-release of the entire Truth LP that this is on, all in its ORIGINAL mono mix!! (As is this single). So if you want the whole LP in a great quality mono mix you can order it there.

  • Recorded in the spring of 1966 and released in 1967. Possibly one of the earliest proto-metal songs ever!

  • Great! Two of my favourite guitarists together!

  • Oh! si vede anche un J. Page sopra a Jeff Back...
