Well, this is my first time playing this one, it actually seems like it'd be fun if I had the manual and knew exactly how to play it.

  • i could never beat the Brog

  • OMG its called 'transporter' not 'teleporter'

    OH MY GAWD

    hhahahahahah jj

  • couldn't have been all that great anyways

  • this game pissed me off then lol

  • In order to fight, press select (After arming weapons/shields) on the "viewer screen" to turn the ship.

What I don't remember from the show is having to turn the ship in order to fire phasors/photons.

Strong points: Not being talked to death, ala Star Trek: 25'th anniversary.

Weak: You have a ship with hundreds on board. Why must YOU fire weapons, work transporters, fly the ship, rewire the power conduits and do everything? Sure, being the captain MEANS knowing this stuff. Not DOING it.

  • I laughed the first couple times you went to warp. I'd probably have the same reaction were I on the bridge of the actual Enterprise. It seems you were enjoying it the more you figured out, which is good. Think I might go find this and try it out for myself.

  • This one I played the most on the Game Boy. I eventually ran across the (slightly) inferior NES version.

    Instruction manual a plus.

To navigate: Press Select to disarm the badges.

Teleporting: Read the bars. That upper "LOCK" bar fills up as your target approaches the 'next' person/object to beam up. I know, weak.

  • I remember Gamepro panning this one for being ridiculously hard and bad. I never played it but I think the Gameboy one is similar.

    No Troi or Crusher huh?
