that is some sick sound

They don't do E-tests where I live, so would I be allowed to go catless?
-
@Reineck82 i always remember that on stock that most or all tanabe installed street cars should pass.
-
@dsmvlado it isnt required to have a cat in Indiana, i've checked my laws ;3

@Reineck82 most cars will get soot on the bumper regardless if they have a cat or not. its not like the cat works like a DPF.
soot is from unburnt fuel, ie: engine is too rich. and the catylitic converter does not break down unburnt fuel.

are you running just the cat back or are you running a header and test pipes...and did it increase power at all

@MrWTF6751
I can't remember if I had a header in the car when I made this video or not. If I did have a header installed, it is the Tracy Sports TS-02 manifold. But I know for certain that I was running with the OEM catalytic converter and OEM air intake. I'll probably make a new updated video when I get the test pipe put in. And then it will be a full intake/exhaust system. I'd like to install a light weight flywheel and drive shaft before then though.

in cali anything on the catback is good except they check for decibels. which is if it's over 91-93 db than you're not passing.

@mengthor
The exhaust is rated at 93 db max. Not sure how much the dB rating changed with intake and header also installed.
