  • This song was made famous by George Thoroughgood and the Destroyers, if I'm not mistaken, and I was honestly surprised to find it on the recent "Playboy Years" CD. It is better than George's version, and did Danny, Joe Frank and Alan record it first?

  • I believe Bo Diddley wrote this song in 1956. Maybe someone else knows? Thanks for your comment!

  • Not sure why you always apologize for your part in all of the music...you are always a part of creating the sound I knew so well in 1975-1979 when I knew Joe Frank well. I appreciate you posting these to keep their memory (and Dan's) alive and well in the next decade!!!

  • Thanks, I appreciate it!
