Star 80 is one of the best movies ever made. Eric delivered one of the best performances by any actor. His ability to display the love for both his gf and the desire for limelight and the conflicts of his desperation for both was an Academy Award performance. Julia is good. Eric is 10 x's the actor she is. That is the plain truth.

Now Mickey Rourke has also been given a chance to make an a-movie and hopefully Eric Roberts will be soon starring in some good stuff too. It is as if the two pulled some kind of forbidden stunt in Hollywood and got sentenced to b-movies for a decade or two.

That is something i noticed too. I thought it had something to do with his personal p[roblems or something. The last film i did see was Cyclops, a terrible made b-movie with b-actors in it. And there are a few more such movies starring ER.
