I think he does, but it'd be more to do with his singing style. If I sing along and try to sound like him my voice is usually out for the count about 3/4 of the way through the CD. I sound a lot more like me when I sing along to their stuff now, and because I don't go screwing my voice by doing dumb shit like singing along to bands like strung out my voice is about twice as strong and far more controllable than it was a year ago. Two years ago I'd probably say I couldn't sing at all

I've seen them live several times and I've got the live CD. He's not the greatest singer in the world but he's got that thing going where his voice breaks up even when he's trying to put out a basic note. You can also see that he gives up at several points. It's bullshit when that happens to you on stage, and you've got half a set to complete.
