I feel sorry for anyone who can not see the beauty in this liturgy. Why is spontinaeity and spirit filled worship such a threat to you? I am a religious education coordinator and I can tell you unabashedly that the cafeteria is open and anyone with a heart, soul and brain is picking and choosing which type of worship appeals to them.

So, Fr., you are advocating liturgical abuse. "If the bishop wants to modify liturgy to speak better to the people, fine." Sorry, it is not "fine". It is forbidden. It is abuse of the Mass - Please read the documents of the Church (may I recommend starting with Redemtionis Sacramentum") Sounds like you don't like rules either.

What "spirit" did you feel? Christ told us there is Only One path...that is the long and narrow! One truly has need to question if Christ is really present at such abominations like these. Many have lost the faith, including our clergy. And no thanks to them, they have led many to lose theirs! St. Padre Pio pray for us!

the Priest simply chose to say to homily, and have a 'guest' speaker speak on the readings and such.

I can see how that would be allowed. Priests can choose to give no homily, if i am not mistaken.

If i am not mistaken, it is not not wrong for the teens and such to go around the altar.

God is present in the good People of Orange, as he is in Bishop Todd, just as God is present under ultra conservative bishops in Lincoiln, NE and Salem OR. I saw nothing in this video that offended me whatsover. I did feel the presence of the Spirit. I respect your tradition, just as I hope you wull learn to respect any "deviations" of liturgical norms, (as you might see it.) We're all on the same journey, just different paths.

If we the people stopped attending the Masses of these apostates they would stop soon enough. We have one of these types at our church. I simply will walk away and attend a different Mass from now on. If there is no one to attend their Liturgies, they will either straighten up or get the ax. We should also make it known we are sending our money elswhere until the abuses stop. That will get their attention soon enough.

What do you expect with a Mass that has been destroyed? It only invites novelty and of course, abuse.You must return to the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass where ever you can find it and go there.Leave this type of abomination and go to a Traditional Mass where you will receive the graces you need to continue your journey in this life.Pray for these "Priests and Bishops" andthecongregation that is oblivious to the blasphemy going on.
