For stereo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv_lHzaDx9U&fmt=18 This is the full Jazz Ethics band version of "Take Five". I believe I read that this was rated the most popular jazz tune of all time. It was written by Paul Desmond and released on the Dave Brubeck "TIME OUT" LP. Our version uses the guitar instead of a sax for the head, but features additional solos on drums and piano. Jazz Ethics is: Craig Friedman on bass, Kevin Truman on drums, Jason Greenwald on piano, & Lar Wolkan on guitar. Thanks for giving it a listen! Lar

  • You guys look and sound great on stage and I think you would look good on the door as well. (if you catch my drift)

Thinking about it, we haven't seen too many stage shows lately. Are you taking 5?

  • Hi geoff.... we're recording a bunch of new tunes right now... there will be a lot featuring Dianne (the female vocalist) coming up. I also am in the pit band for a local musical that's taking up some time... Sorry about all the slide shows but my video camera isn't working right... thanks for checking out the tune!

  • JazzEthics,

Take Five stars for this performance! (OK I admit that was a cheap joke).

    Very well done.

The first picture that pops up looks like someone pissed in your mess kit and you are about to open a can of whoopass on someone.

    Great tune played just right.

    Cheers,

    allen
