Perhaps it's because the aparatus is just so good, but this guy doesn't look paralysed at all to me. I think he's a non-paralysed man just demonstrating the concept.

Actually, he was. He built the machine so he could walk as part of his physical therapy, and it worked so well he can now walk without it. Check their website.

he was paralyzed for 1 year in the hospital but he was healed sometime in the 80's, in 2001, he started to actually build the lifesuit and was NOT paralyzed when he was building it. and he is still building it. if you want to know the whole story i'll get him to message you. if you're wondering how i know the real story better than anyone besides monty reed, it's because he's my daddy
