There used to be a tribute concert on youtube where patti smith forgets her lyrics on the song she performs. Obviously its not e-bow the letter, but i cant remember wich one it was. Anyways, its a real shame taht this hole concert has been taken down. I have no idea why. I think it was carnegie hall aswell, so it could be that this footage is from the same concert that im refering to. Shame i cant find it, cause i remember there was some really great covers

I'm French but I wish I attended this gig. Not only because R.E.M. is my favorite band but also because of the artists who took part in it: the Feelies, the DB's, Bob Mould, Vic Chesnutt, Calexico etc....
