Top 10 AOR/ Melodic Rock Singers of All Time

It was an honor to come up with a top ten list of who I think is the greatest AOR/Melodic Rock singers of all time. AOR music is the best form of music in terms of getting the purest and most brilliant musicians in each respective instrument, and each of these vocalists on this list are in a class alone. There is no comparing these vocalists to the singers you here on the radio today. In fact, most singers today even with the help of autotune/computer help still can't get better vocals than any of these singers on my list (and don't get me started on American Idol.......)

NOTE - DAVID COVERDALE IS NOT ON THIS LIST FOR A REASON. I CONSIDER HIM TO BE MORE BLUESY ROCK AND NOT IN THE AOR CATEGORY, HENCE HE WAS NOT ON MY LIST. BUT HAD I PUT HIM ON THE LIST, I WOULD'VE DEFINATELY PUT HIM IN THE TOP 5.

Great video. It's hard to argue about putting Steve Perry up near the top, but what about Tony Harnell!?!? Is TNT a little to hard rock to be considered in this list?

I consider Steelheart late hair metal rather than AOR. I would have taken him out and inserted Chris Ousey. Other than that list is pretty good.

Very good choices, can't argue with the singers selected, maybe have some of them in different order, but that's down to the listeners taste.
Personally Steve Overland runs Mr Perry very close............
