This was such a great event for the kids. The fishing was great and the "staff" was so supportive, knowledgeable and friendly that this is an event your kids will treasure forever. Bass, tilapia, catfish, carp were just some of the fish caught. The biggest was a 12-13 pound carp that overwhelmed the scales! There were several categories for fishing; from beginner to "pro", so there's a place for everyone. Kudos to all who put this event together: There was so much behind the scene work involved with so many people who keep Avalon looking great, that I can't mention them all, but just trust me... this was a beautiful medley of dedicated individuals, small businesses and corporations putting on a first class event that crescendoed to 3 hours of great fun for all. DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!!!!
