The battery that came with the byke was 36 volt 4 amp hour battery, that got me about 7 miles. I have replaced it with a 36 volt 20 amp hour battery. this gets me about 40-50 miles. 5 times more range.

I sourced the 36 volt 20 amp hour bike battery from ebay. It came with a red wire and a black wire which i attached to an xlr din female socket. The red wire was attached to the bottom 2 prong sockets and the black wire to the single top prong socket. Then I installed a back box and drilled a hole in the side to mount an xlr din panel socket from amazon / ebay.
