I've been there in november 2005, 3 weeks 1/2 at pipa & 3 days in Ponta Negra in Natal.
Beautiful beaches & people, the life is not expensive, you can surf with dolphins & big turtle at Pipa, people are nice.
The sun is very hot & the sea too
You have to speak Portugues, they don't speak too much english there unfortunately
