Had Sen Ted Kennedy Won the Democratic Nomination in 1980 he might of Beaten Ronald Reagan. He easily Delivered the Best Speech at that Convention.

Not sure what point you are trying to make here. But Ted Kennedy was a piece of shit. He got away with murder and bad behavior his whole life becuase his name was Kennedy. He drove his poor wife Joan to alcholism, he neglected his children and did some severe damage to this country as a Senator. All this fawning over him makes me sick

No excuse! My father died when I was just 7. My sister and my nephew were killed when I was 17. I never drove my car off a bridge leaving a poor young lady to drown and become a total blithering drunk, neglecting my family.
Face it John and Bobby were no angels either. They got their morals for their father. They were all lowlifes.
The only Kennedy I had respect for was John Jr. because he wasn't afraid to call out his uncle and cousins for their bad behavior

Truth is when John and Robert were cruelly assassinated his life would never be the same and he lost much of his direction for many years. I have no doubt had his personal life not wilted so badly for a time, that he too would have made a great president just like his two star quality brothers. Once upon a time, this triumvirate showed incredible talent and drive. How tragic!

Wow Teddy really hated Carter. I'm trying to find video of when Kennedy came up to the stage looking thoroughly disgusted to be there, and Carter is just beaming and extends his hand to Ted and Ted gives him a cold fish handshake and then just walks off the stage.
