It brough tears to my eyes too the first three times I listened to it. Now, I think I've listened to it ten times already and I'm still getting a lump in my throat. I can't wait to see them this Saturday in Somerville, NJ. I hope they play this song. I just love it. First time I saw them was in Nashville on vacation, live on Grand Ole Opry.

No, Dad! I'm not watching them over and over, but I have watched them a few times! I do like this song even though the first time I heard it it brought tears to my eyes! She has a very beautiful voice! Now leave me alone about it...as if you could!

The song was inspired my a true story told by Freddie Smith, a WDVX DJ whose son is a marine in Iraq. Freddie could not understand why his only son would volunteer to fight and die for the Iraqi people. He struggled with this and was deeply saddened and troubled until he realized that's what God's only son, Jesus, did. He told this story to Cia Holmes at a Bluegrss show in Dollywood. It inspired her to write this song.
