Blender3D Hairy Softbodies

Fuzzy cubes land on soft grass. One cube gets mad at the other. It took me about 10 minutes to put this short scene together.

Just kidding.

I had intended to post a tutorial, but Blender changed it particle-generation interface and when I re-loaded the file it didn't work the same way. That was 4 or 5 versions of Blender ago.

This was one of my first YouTube uploads, and at the time I didn't really know what to expect. from the community.

I've learned a lot since this video and I guess I keep telling myself I'll upload a better one someday.

Blender updated its particle system since I created that short video, and it took me a while to figure out how to re-create it, but I think I can do it now. I'm nearing completion of a 1000-frame animation (my biggest yet) but when I'm done with that I can try to whip up a tutorial for the hairy softbodies.

Love how acme people think the purple looks happy, others think it looks angry, and some see it as humping the red one. Says a lot about innocent minds what you decide to see. :D

that was cool, but you should have expected good feed back, since blender isnt exactly a huge argument magnet.
