George Galloway speaks to 'sage-like' former US Congressman John LeBoutillier (R-NY) on the Time Person of the Year 2010. The recipient for that years award went to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who is the 2nd youngest person to receive such award. The two discuss the significance behind this award.
Of particular note, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange won the Time Person of the Year poll.
Originally broadcasted on 17th December 2010.
19. (C) The UK DCM said last week that the presence of lunatic fringe MP George Galloway in Havana put the British Embassy in an embarassing situation. On the one hand, they wanted to at least go through the motions of offering assistance to an MP; on the other hand, they thought it better not to be seen or photographed next to Galloway, who had just released a statement saying that it would be just fine if somebody killed Tony Blair.

As usual the Republican is out of touch with reality...Tea Party movement is not something that was felt outside U.S and Chilean miners didnt make an effect for the entire year. Wikileaks founder was a front runner...and just as deserving.
Facebook was going to have an IPO in late 2010 or 2011 where the total worth was learned to be 25 billion and he pledged to give more than half of that to the Gates Foundation. Please tell me someone who did that at 26 even after you adjust for inflation?
