Episode 4 of the Virtual Boy Gamer Show. Today, we look at the Drum Accessorie for Guitar Hero. A few years ago, when Guitar Hero World Tour came out, it revolutionized the franchise. Not only could you play just the regular guitar, but now, you can sing and play drums. From then on, the Guitar Hero franchise has gone in the direction of a full band, rather then just the regular guitar. Today, we look specifically at the Guitar Hero Drum Set. When you play the GH drums, it feels more like you're in the game. The regular guitar is fun, but to my opinion, it's not enough. It doesn't feel like you are interacting in a rock concert. With the drum set, you take a whole new perspective with the drums. It feels like you are there, rockin' out at a concert on the drums. You even get to use real drum sticks. May not look like a top notch drum set, but sure feels like it. And to my opinion, that's what the point of the guitar hero franchise is: to simulate yourself into the perspective of a person playing in a concert. Drums, and the mic, put it over the edge. My only problem with the drums: too loud. When you're hitting the drums during a song, you hear the sound of smacking the drums more then the music that comes from the TV. Kind of gets annoying. But, doesn't ruin it in anyway. My overall grade for the drums: 9/10.
