The crowd clapped because Guliani lashed out after Paul embarrassed the republican position for the last 6 years. Kind've like Talk radio not supporting Paul because they've been defending Bush for the last 6. To admit Paul's right would be to admit the the Bush foreign policy was wrong. They can't get past their pride.

Does the majority of politicians even speak english? A fifth grader would be able to tell you that what Ron Paul said makes sense, and in no way does it even remotely justify Guiliani's response. Of course, there a lot of deaf, dumb, and blind people in regards to politics. (not insulting the handicapped people, chill out. haha)
