http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Drums-and-Percussion/Electronic-Drums/Electronic... Roland TD-4KV all mesh kit....This is the new big brother of the standard Roland TD-4K kit - so welcome to the new improved Roland TD-4KV Electronic Drum Kit, enhanced and improved by the addition of several new features such as 6.5" mesh pads on the high toms and a PDX-8 pad for the floor tom.

There are also 30 brand new sampled kits inside the TD-4 Module, not forgetting of course those functions retained from the old version, such as Aux input for your own iPod / backing tracks, Audio, MIDI & Headphones output and the special coach function for warm-up and practice... plus the expansion options, which allow the TD4KV to have extra V-pads fitted and some of the Cymbals upgraded...

  • @unduswaffel First off I'll let you and anyone reading this know that I've been using this kit now for several months and I have 0 complaints, it sounds amazing, feels like a real kit and the possibilities are endless when you think of all that can be done with e-drums (especially the roland kits).

  • @BrandonCaryMusic Awesome. And how does it compare to an acoustic kit in realism? I play an HD-1 at my drum school and when it's off, i really don't mind practicing on it(but the sound is ATROCIOUS) so i don't think i'll complain about 'realism'. But still, i just practice and don't gig, and i'm in LOVE with all the e-drum advantages (besides the convenience factor) and as a measure of my skill i'm on Grade 4 on Rockschool, so anyways, just help me out man!

  • quit changing camera views so much! :O

  • @BrandonCaryMusic Dude congrats ! I just bought the kit 30 minutes ago myself... The kick pad it comes with works a *dream* with my Trick Pro-V double pedals, i was affraid of too much rebound,, not enough rebound and double triggering, i was 100% ready to ditch the default bass drum and buy a Kd-120 mesh kick, but i totally didnt need to.,. fell in love with the feel of the default bass drum instantly.. feels like my acoustic skin, i didnt double trigger once around at low or high tempos.

  • I just bought that kit. Love it! Oh yeah and Johnny Rabb is the man! Excellent drumming dude!

  • @FallingTowardsUpward dude check out pictures of the kx

Theres double bass for ya :)

    thnks anyway though

  • Hey. If i buy this set TD4KX and later(year or 2) i will buy Roland TD-9 modul.. and replace TD4->TD9. Is TD-9 modul suitable to TD4kx drum set?

  • Hey im planning on getting this set for xmas. Was wondering what amp would be good for metal drumming (bulllet for my valentine) with good bass. And really affordable (nothing over $300 but the lower the better). Really need professional advice on this thanks!

  • @xAlexDarkx they just make a light noise when you hit them, but it has no acoustic amplification when off.

  • Are these mesh pads similar to real drums? Are they loud? Cause my family will kill me.. xD
