Excellent! Thankyou for this English translation! I love these games so much.. I got a Dreamcast and a Saturn just to play shooters, I also use the PS2 and MAME for alot of games.. I never used to like shooters THAT much as a kid - I would play them more than most people but was always a fighter fan (2D games anyway!). I think its a case of 'You don't know what you've got till its gone'.. Give me back my Arcade scene!!!!

@andy7666 Your story reads word for word like mine. I think it's because growing up, I always equated shoot 'em ups with R-Type, which is pretty much the only shoot em up I knew. Then I got Magic Engine a couple of months ago, and one I played Gate of Thunder there was no going back... I've since bought a Saturn, Dreamcast and PS1 just to play shooters! Better late than never!
