Some of the most delicious Puerto Rican dishes are served in family style restaurants around in the City of Buffalo like Willie's Little Corner Restaurant at 272 Hudson corner of West Ave, serving authentic dishes native to Puerto Rico, opening 5 mts ago at this location previously since 2003 at Hudson & Niagara.
On a thursday afternoon at lunch time people lined up from all walks of life to eat what has been described as one of the best eateries of Puerto Rican cuisine in New York State nestled on the lower West Side, serving their famous "Arroz con Gandules" and "Frituras: "Alcapurrias," "Relleno de Papas," "Pastelillos." Specialty dishes: "Canoa" (platanos con carne molida y queso), "Yuca Ajillo," "Pasteles" (carne de cerdo). Most requested dishes: "Arroz con Gandules" o "Bistec." Also, "Pollo Guisado," "Yuca," "Costillas a la Barbecue," and other dishes.
One customer in the video said it was her 5th time eating she enjoys the food so much she brings in her family and friends and she is not a Hispanic! Customers spoke highly of the food whether new or regular and all had their favorite dishes like "Arroz con Bacalao" or "Yuca y Pollo Guisado."
