Actually met the great man in an upper east side bar/restaurant back in the 90's. Me and a couple of my friends just got off from work.
Were sitting by the bar and a gentleman and a lady walk in. We all do a doubletake and realize its Tito Puente, we kind of ask him what brings him into an irish restaurant he says ,
People are less apt to recognize him there,lol
He bought us a round of drinks. Great man
will never forget that chance meeting with truly a legend.

todos ellos me inspiraron para aprender el saxo soprano desde que tengo 7 años,,,.algun dia espero subirme al scenario y difundir estos magnificos ritmo...
