Dr. Mae Jemison teaches us about education, literacy in science and technology, and the keys individuals need to excel.  She promotes the value of education, shares her keys to happiness, and inspires a greater interest in science.  Dr. Jemison also addresses roadblocks associated with education and suggests ways to overcome the gender cap in science and technology literacy to foster increased interest and confidence for girls. This will be the featured video in our Black History program Sat., Feb 23, 2013. She is as beautiful as she is brilliant. I regret her life and story aren't broadcast across the globe like the information of some other Black women. Oh well. This is the day and age in which we live. Excellent video!
