A recent study on lobbying by business in the United States revealed that companies that invested in lobbying congress received a 22,000% return on their investments. For every one dollar invested these companies received $220 in tax benefits. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian discuss this amazing study.

  • @RebornLegacy That was me too!! hahaha my comment got deleted

  • I am a corporation.

    I don't have a voice.

    I have money!

Therefore, I have a lot more voice than you!

  • It's funny cause it's our money, the taxpayers lol.

  • ok honestly, what the fuck do they need with more billions, its just gonna sit in a bank account untouched. or they gamble with it to get more for it to sit.

  • Do corporations pay more in lobby than they do in taxes?

  • VOTE FOR RON PAUL

  • Screw changing the current system to make it better. I think we might as well just tear down the system and start all over. The corruption's just gone way too far to be fixed any time soon.

  • @chrisknows Are you stupid? That is a serious question... because the things you are saying strike me as the kinds of things someone who is VERY stupid would think.

1 lobby attempt from the people being screwed (provided you can get that many people to agree on what they are lobbying about) cant compare to the sheer volume of corporate money being pumped into the system, you cant beat them by playing the same game they play and being shit at said game. Stop being an idiot.

  • @Losuol ---

Indeed and what's illegal can be countered with different means than what's legal.

  • @Nimbostratinator are you serious?? until now, everyone was complaining about sub-prime mortgages and how the unemployed were able to get 6-figure loans no questions asked, and now you're saying it would be hard to pull together a couple million dollars between a group of like-minded people?

this represents a massive problem with america; it's easy to whine and say how things should be, but nobody wants to take action or dream big or take a couple fucking risks
